I am a nerd. Technology is a big part of my life. Actually technology is part of everybody’s life. Technology has impacted my life in every possible way, even in the most unlikely ways that nobody ever thinks about. Every minute of my day is being affected by technology. Yes even while I sleep! I love technology. It is like a taco. Sometimes has a shell and contains all kinds of stuff inside. Mmmmm taco. Anyway, without technology my life might not be so fun. I wouldn’t have my car to go to the movies. Oh yeah there would be no movies. I would not have an ipod or no pickups on my guitars, and there would be no recorded music. Hey at least there would be no remixes. Technology is my entertainment. I love to go home and sit in front of a computer or tv, plug in a guitar or listen to my mp3 player.
Technology has been forever changing and it will forever be changing. Hey a sharpened stick made by a monkey is technology. In 10 years, that monkey maybe building a boat. (Wouldn’t that be awesome). To sum up what I kind of danced around, technology is forever changing and without it we could be in a lot of trouble. Thank goodness for medical technology.

ok...the taco thing was kinda weird..but still pretty funny. but your right. everyone loves and needs technology. whether its for comfort or work or whatever, we still need it. we rely on it very heavily.
Your blog has some good humor. I agree with phoebalee07 that the taco analogy was a little different. But you got your point across! We all use technology!
I like that you said that without technology life would be no fun. Absolutely, I can't imagine me and my friends having to make up games and different things to do everyday to make life fun. Thank goodness for the technology that adds a little spark to life.
I like how you provide your reasons for technology and I also like how you have the jokes following your examples.
i love that you started out by stating that you are a nerd! and this blog made me giggle inside a few times. Technology is definately always changing and enhancing. (i wish people would stop remixing music!) I also like to come home and plug in my ipod and relax, or just have movie night with some friends. and your monkey analogy reminded me of Zoolander. (if you havent seen itm you should.) there's a part where derek and hansel are trying to find files from "inside the computer". well they arent the brightest so they start banging it to open it. they look like monkeys jumping on the desk and making noises. it is hilarious and so true. give a monkey enough time and computers and they will figure it out.

While the monkey and the stick business is humorous, it is also a very good understanding of technologh -- anything that improves ones existence. So, good humor and good insight as well!
Indeed, this post was an enjoyable read, but there is an underlying notion that I, for the sake of argument, will display my disagreement with. I'll start with a contradictive statement, that yes, without technology, your life might not be so fun; however, I view the fun we seek as merely a product of the influence society has thrust upon us, and is entirely relative. We would not view these things as "fun' had we never been exposed to them. I'm not denying that listening to music on an ipod, or watching movies, or driving around is enjoyable, yet I cannot believe I could not enjoy life had our technological advancement been relatively miniscule, as I would have had no reference to think otherwise.
